On a clear day most of the time you are trekking in the company of these mountains giving you a thrilling experience of the mighty Himalaya, particularly the Nanda Devi Massif. These mountains though far away appear very close. The trail was named after Lord Curzon, who was a keen trekker & it is said that the path was specially improved so that he could trek. With independence it was renamed the Nehru Trail

Day 01: Haridwar – Arrival Joshimath [1875 m] - 270 kms – Minimum 10 hrs by road
Morning After an early breakfast drive to Joshimath (1875m) via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag and Nandprayag, the most famous confluences of Garhwal Himalayas. Lunch en route. Arrival at Joshimath by evening. Upon arrival at Joshimath 
check in to Hotel. Overnight stay at Guest House Joshimath 


Day 02 :Joshimath - Auli – Tali (3000 M.) - 14 kms by road and 10 kms Trek – 5 - 6 hrs
Early in the morning after breakfast drive 14 kms to Auli where you can see the magnificent view of Nanda Devi peak 7820M. You will start your trek from Auli. En route you will cross the famous Bugyal (meadows) of Gorson and from here you can see the entire range of Nanda Devi sanctuary, along the Rishi Ganga. Overnight food and stay in Camp


Day 03 : Tali – Gail Garh (3690M.) – 8 kms Trek 
Morning after breakfast trek start with packed lunch to Gail Garh – today 8 kms trek only, but all way walk up till Gail Garh camp. On they way you will see all Group of Garhwal snow mountain with Mt. Nanda Devi view 7820 meter. Overnight food and stay in Camp 

Day 04 : Gail Garh Top 3690 meter after down to Kuari Pass 3440M. After Kulara 3200M for Overnight Camp 
Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. After you come back camp and trek down to Kulara camp. Overnight food and stay in Camp

Day 5: Kulara to Dhak 12 kms Trek Road head – after drive to Joshimath –10 km by road, Overnight stay in Guest House 
Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch 4 – 5 hrs to reach Dhak road head, today all the way trek down till Dhak, en rout you will pass Karachi Village, on arrival Dhak where your jeep driver wait to you After drive by jeep to Joshimath 10 kms 30 mint. The Kuari pass is one of the most beautiful trek, famous for the enchanting view of the snow clad peaks of Neelkanth (6596m), Kamet (7756m), Mukut Parbat, Mana, Nilgiri Parbat, Trishul (7120m), Hardeol, Dronagiri, Rishi Pahar, Kalanka, Chaukhamba (7128m), Lampak, Changabang (6864m) , and others. On a clear day most of the time you are trekking in the company of these mountains giving you a thrilling experience of the mighty Himalaya, particularly the Nanda Devi Massif. These mountains though far away appear very close. The trail was named after Lord Curzon, who was a keen trekker & it is said that the path was specially improved so that he could trek. With independence it was renamed the Nehru Trail

Day 02 : Joshimath - Auli – Tali (3000 M.) - 14 kms by road and 10 kms Trek – 5 - 6 hrs

Early in the morning after breakfast drive 14 kms to Auli where you can see the magnificent view of Nanda Devi peak 7820M. You will start your trek from Auli. En route you will cross the famous Bugyal (meadows) of Gorson and from here you can see the entire range of Nanda Devi sanctuary, along the Rishi Ganga. Overnight food and stay in Camp

Day 03 : Tali – Gail Garh (3690M.) – 8 kms Trek

Morning after breakfast trek start with packed lunch to Gail Garh – today 8 kms trek only, but all way walk up till Gail Garh camp. On they way you will see all Group of Garhwal snow mountain with Mt. Nanda Devi view 7820 meter. Overnight food and stay in Camp

Day 04 : Gail Garh Top 3690 meter after down to Kuari Pass 3440M. After Kulara 3200M for Overnight Camp

Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. 1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
It depend of the difficulty of the trek : for some of them you need  1 month before begin your trek 5 kms jog every day but you need good health,  The trek we planned together is not very difficult therefore you should not worry, you can do this trek easily, When you get some time you go for jogging/walking. If possible 1 month before your departure you can walk/jog but you don’t need to go every day only as much as possible and at least once/twice a week.

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of April to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek mid of September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???

Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.

8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them.

10. What do we carry on the tour???

All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

Kuari which means “doorway” is a Himalayan high mountain pass situated in the Garhwal region of northern India, south of the Tibetan border and on the western rim of the “Nanda Devi Sanctuary” Biosphere Reserve and falls in the Chamoli district. The Kuari Pass Trek found fame in the early 1900’s when intrepid adventurers and mountaineers such as Lord Curzon, Eric Ship ton and Bill Tillman used the passage in their pioneering explorations of the region. The Kuari Pass trek is known as The Curzon Trail (named after the former British Viceroy of India “Lord Curzon”).

Morning 7 AM. Arrival Haridwar. After drive to Srinagar by road 4 hrs. On the way cross Devaparyag holy confluences of the various tributaries of Ganga. : Deoprayag is the most sacred of all the prayags because it’s the very first one at the confluence of Bhagirathi (originating at Gaumukh) and Alaknanda (originating from snowy peaks above Badrinath). Day 04 : Jhenjipani to Pana (2043m) 12 kms Trek

A 4 hrs trek ascending steeply for about 3 hrs followed by descend into the village of Pana. Morning after breakfast you continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, at 3640m. One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. Day 07 : Kulara  to Auli (2750m) 16 kms Trek – drive to Joshimath 14 kms

Morning after breakfast, trek down 5 hrs to reach Auli - a winter ski resort, at the height of 2700m. Auli provides excellent opportunities for cross country, slalom and downhill skiing events. It offers an 180o panoramic view of Nanda Devi (7820m), Kamet (7756m), Mana Parvat (7273m), Dunagiri (6489m), Bethartoli (6352m), Neelkanth (6596m), Hathi (6727m) and Ghori Parvat (6590m). 1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
It depend of the difficulty of the trek : for some of them you need  1-2 month before begin your trek 5 kms jog every day but you need good health,  The trek we planned together is not very difficult therefore you should not worry, you can do this trek easily, When you get some time you go for jogging/walking. If possible 1 month before your departure you can walk/jog but you don’t need to go every day only as much as possible and at least once/twice a week.

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of May to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek Mid September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???

Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.


8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them.

10. What do we carry on the tour???
Just you see under we give you list of all necessary things, but before the start of the trip we will inform you again by mail required to carry with you.

Good quality hiking boots waterproof is must as you have to walk in snow and rain. So good trekking shoes is must for this trek.

We have two mane tents Twin sharing bases tents are provide were two people can stay in fully comfort

14. What kind of food do we get during the tour???
Best local vegetarian food + Eggs on the Trek.
 

15. About Drininking water along the way trek and in camp ???
All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

We use like Mahindra Max or Tata Sumo Cab - 5 persons in one cab if our group is 20 people we have mini bus [if you like privet Toyota Innova cab we can arrange also]

QUESTIONS FROM CLIENT AND REPLY FROM US

1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
It depend of the difficulty of the trek : for some of them you need  1 month before begin your trek 5 kms jog every day but you need good health,  The trek we planned together is not very difficult therefore you should not worry, you can do this trek easily, When you get some time you go for jogging/walking. If possible 1 month before your departure you can walk/jog but you don’t need to go every day only as much as possible and at least once/twice a week.

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of April to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek mid of September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???

Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.

8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them.

10. What do we carry on the tour???
Just you see under we give you list of all necessary things, but before the start of the trip we will inform you again by mail required to carry with you.

11. Who carry my Luggage if I am not able to ???

We have Mule and porters for carry your luggage and all our camp equipment + food. You need to carry only your day bag

12. What kind of shoes should I carry???
Good quality hiking boots waterproof is must as you have to walk in snow and rain. So good trekking shoes is must for this trek.

13. How many travelers will sleep in one tent???
We have two mane tents Twin sharing bases tents are provide were two people can stay in fully comfort

14. What kind of food do we get during the tour???
Best local vegetarian food + Eggs on the Trek.

15. About Drininking water along the way trek and in camp ???

All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

16. What type of transportation and how many people are in one cab???
We use like Mahindra Max or Tata Sumo Cab - 5 persons in one cab if our group is 20 people we have mini bus [if you like privet Toyota Innova cab we can arrange also]

17. Should I bring my own medicines???
Absolutely - You should definitely carry whatever medicines you are using for the purpose of added safety.

18. Can the itinerary be changed???
Not because the itineraries are Fix planned, depending weather condition on the trek your but your guide and members of the group to see if they agree on small changes if is necessary to changed

The Kuari pass is one of the most beautiful trek, famous for the enchanting view of the snow clad peaks of Neelkanth (6596m), Kamet (7756m), Mukut Parbat, Mana, Nilgiri Parbat, Trishul (7120m), Hardeol, Dronagiri, Rishi Pahar, Kalanka, Chaukhamba (7128m), Lampak, Changabang (6864m) , and others. On a clear day most of the time you are trekking in the company of these mountains giving you a thrilling experience of the mighty Himalaya, particularly the Nanda Devi Massif. These mountains though far away appear very close. The trail was named after Lord Curzon, who was a keen trekker & it is said that the path was specially improved so that he could trek. With independence it was renamed the Nehru Trail

Morning After an early breakfast drive to Joshimath (1875m) via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag and Nandprayag, the most famous confluences of Garhwal Himalayas. Lunch en route. Arrival at Joshimath by evening. Upon arrival at Joshimath

Day 02 : Joshimath - Auli – Tali (3000 M.) - 14 kms by road and 10 kms Trek – 5 - 6 hrs

Early in the morning after breakfast drive 14 kms to Auli where you can see the magnificent view of Nanda Devi peak 7820M. You will start your trek from Auli. En route you will cross the famous Bugyal (meadows) of Gorson and from here you can see the entire range of Nanda Devi sanctuary, along the Rishi Ganga. Overnight food and stay in Camp

Day 03 : Tali – Gail Garh (3690M.) – 8 kms Trek

Morning after breakfast trek start with packed lunch to Gail Garh – today 8 kms trek only, but all way walk up till Gail Garh camp. On they way you will see all Group of Garhwal snow mountain with Mt. Nanda Devi view 7820 meter. Overnight food and stay in Camp

Day 04 : Gail Garh Top 3690 meter after down to Kuari Pass 3440M. After Kulara 3200M for Overnight Camp

Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. 1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
It depend of the difficulty of the trek : for some of them you need  1 month before begin your trek 5 kms jog every day but you need good health,  The trek we planned together is not very difficult therefore you should not worry, you can do this trek easily, When you get some time you go for jogging/walking. If possible 1 month before your departure you can walk/jog but you don’t need to go every day only as much as possible and at least once/twice a week.

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of April to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek mid of September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???

Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.

8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them.

10. What do we carry on the tour???
Just you see under we give you list of all necessary things, but before the start of the trip we will inform you again by mail required to carry with you.

We have Mule and porters for carry your luggage and all our camp equipment + food. You need to carry only your day bag

Good quality hiking boots waterproof is must as you have to walk in snow and rain. So good trekking shoes is must for this trek.

We have two mane tents Twin sharing bases tents are provide were two people can stay in fully comfort

Best local vegetarian food + Eggs on the Trek.

15. About Drininking water along the way trek and in camp ???

All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

16. What type of transportation and how many people are in one cab???
We use like Mahindra Max or Tata Sumo Cab - 5 persons in one cab if our group is 20 people we have mini bus [if you like privet Toyota Innova cab we can arrange also]

On a clear day most of the time you are trekking in the company of these mountains giving you a thrilling experience of the mighty Himalaya, particularly the Nanda Devi Massif. These mountains though far away appear very close. The trail was named after Lord Curzon, who was a keen trekker & it is said that the path was specially improved so that he could trek. Day 04 : Gail Garh Top 3690 meter after down to Kuari Pass 3440M. After Kulara 3200M for Overnight Camp

Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. The Kuari pass is one of the most beautiful trek, famous for the enchanting view of the snow clad peaks of Neelkanth (6596m), Kamet (7756m), Mukut Parbat, Mana, Nilgiri Parbat, Trishul (7120m), Hardeol, Dronagiri, Rishi Pahar, Kalanka, Chaukhamba (7128m), Lampak, Changabang (6864m) , and others. On a clear day most of the time you are trekking in the company of these mountains giving you a thrilling experience of the mighty Himalaya, particularly the Nanda Devi Massif. These mountains though far away appear very close. The trail was named after Lord Curzon, who was a keen trekker & it is said that the path was specially improved so that he could trek. Day 02 : Joshimath - Auli – Tali (3000 M.) - 14 kms by road and 10 kms Trek – 5 - 6 hrs

Early in the morning after breakfast drive 14 kms to Auli where you can see the magnificent view of Nanda Devi peak 7820M. You will start your trek from Auli. En route you will cross the famous Bugyal (meadows) of Gorson and from here you can see the entire range of Nanda Devi sanctuary, along the Rishi Ganga. Overnight food and stay in Camp

Day 03 : Tali – Gail Garh (3690M.) – 8 kms Trek

Day 04 : Gail Garh Top 3690 meter after down to Kuari Pass 3440M. After Kulara 3200M for Overnight Camp

Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. 1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
It depend of the difficulty of the trek : for some of them you need  1 month before begin your trek 5 kms jog every day but you need good health,  The trek we planned together is not very difficult therefore you should not worry, you can do this trek easily, When you get some time you go for jogging/walking. If possible 1 month before your departure you can walk/jog but you don’t need to go every day only as much as possible and at least once/twice a week.

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of April to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek mid of September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

The Kuari pass is one of the most beautiful trek, famous for the enchanting view of the snow clad peaks of Neelkanth (6596m), Kamet (7756m), Mukut Parbat, Mana, Nilgiri Parbat, Trishul (7120m), Hardeol, Dronagiri, Rishi Pahar, Kalanka, Chaukhamba (7128m), Lampak, Changabang (6864m) , and others. On a clear day most of the time you are trekking in the company of these mountains giving you a thrilling experience of the mighty Himalaya, particularly the Nanda Devi Massif. These mountains though far away appear very close. The trail was named after Lord Curzon, who was a keen trekker & it is said that the path was specially improved so that he could trek. With independence it was renamed the Nehru Trail

Day 01: Haridwar – Arrival Joshimath [1875 m] - 270 kms – Minimum 10 hrs by road

Morning After an early breakfast drive to Joshimath (1875m) via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag and Nandprayag, the most famous confluences of Garhwal Himalayas. Lunch en route. Arrival at Joshimath by evening. Upon arrival at Joshimath

check in to Hotel. Overnight stay at Guest House Joshimath

Day 02 : Joshimath - Auli – Tali (3000 M.) - 14 kms by road and 10 kms Trek – 5 - 6 hrs

Early in the morning after breakfast drive 14 kms to Auli where you can see the magnificent view of Nanda Devi peak 7820M. You will start your trek from Auli. En route you will cross the famous Bugyal (meadows) of Gorson and from here you can see the entire range of Nanda Devi sanctuary, along the Rishi Ganga. Overnight food and stay in Camp

Day 03 : Tali – Gail Garh (3690M.) – 8 kms Trek

Morning after breakfast trek start with packed lunch to Gail Garh – today 8 kms trek only, but all way walk up till Gail Garh camp. On they way you will see all Group of Garhwal snow mountain with Mt. Nanda Devi view 7820 meter. Overnight food and stay in Camp

Day 04 : Gail Garh Top 3690 meter after down to Kuari Pass 3440M. After Kulara 3200M for Overnight Camp

Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. After you come back camp and trek down to Kulara camp. Overnight food and stay in Camp

Day 5: Kulara to Dhak 12 kms Trek Road head – after drive to Joshimath –10 km by road, Overnight stay in Guest House

QUESTIONS FROM CLIENT AND REPLY FROM US

1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
It depend of the difficulty of the trek : for some of them you need  1 month before begin your trek 5 kms jog every day but you need good health,  The trek we planned together is not very difficult therefore you should not worry, you can do this trek easily, When you get some time you go for jogging/walking. If possible 1 month before your departure you can walk/jog but you don’t need to go every day only as much as possible and at least once/twice a week.

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of April to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek mid of September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???

Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.

8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them.

10. What do we carry on the tour???
Just you see under we give you list of all necessary things, but before the start of the trip we will inform you again by mail required to carry with you.

11. Who carry my Luggage if I am not able to ???

We have Mule and porters for carry your luggage and all our camp equipment + food. You need to carry only your day bag

12. What kind of shoes should I carry???
Good quality hiking boots waterproof is must as you have to walk in snow and rain. So good trekking shoes is must for this trek.

13. How many travelers will sleep in one tent???
We have two mane tents Twin sharing bases tents are provide were two people can stay in fully comfort

14. What kind of food do we get during the tour???
Best local vegetarian food + Eggs on the Trek.

15. About Drininking water along the way trek and in camp ???

All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

16. What type of transportation and how many people are in one cab???
We use like Mahindra Max or Tata Sumo Cab - 5 persons in one cab if our group is 20 people we have mini bus [if you like privet Toyota Innova cab we can arrange also]

17. Should I bring my own medicines???
Absolutely - You should definitely carry whatever medicines you are using for the purpose of added safety.

18. Can the itinerary be changed???
Not because the itineraries are Fix planned, depending weather condition on the trek your but your guide and members of the group to see if they agree on small changes if is necessary to changed

DETAIL ITINERARY –


Day 01: Haridwar – Arrival Joshimath [1875 m] - 270 kms – Minimum 10 hrs by road

Morning After an early breakfast drive to Joshimath (1875m) via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag and Nandprayag, the most famous confluences of Garhwal Himalayas. Lunch en route. Arrival at Joshimath by evening. Upon arrival at Joshimath

check in to Hotel. Overnight stay at Guest House Joshimath

Day 02 : Joshimath - Auli – Tali (3000 M.) - 14 kms by road and 10 kms Trek – 5 - 6 hrs

Early in the morning after breakfast drive 14 kms to Auli where you can see the magnificent view of Nanda Devi peak 7820M. You will start your trek from Auli. En route you will cross the famous Bugyal (meadows) of Gorson and from here you can see the entire range of Nanda Devi sanctuary, along the Rishi Ganga. Overnight food and stay in Camp

Day 03 : Tali – Gail Garh (3690M.) – 8 kms Trek

Morning after breakfast trek start with packed lunch to Gail Garh – today 8 kms trek only, but all way walk up till Gail Garh camp. On they way you will see all Group of Garhwal snow mountain with Mt. Nanda Devi view 7820 meter. Overnight food and stay in Camp

Day 04 : Gail Garh Top 3690 meter after down to Kuari Pass 3440M. After Kulara 3200M for Overnight Camp

Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. After you come back camp and trek down to Kulara camp. Overnight food and stay in Camp

Day 5: Kulara to Dhak 12 kms Trek Road head – after drive to Joshimath –10 km by road, Overnight stay in Guest House

Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch 4 – 5 hrs to reach Dhak road head, today all the way trek down till Dhak, en rout you will pass Karachi Village, on arrival Dhak where your jeep driver wait to you After drive by jeep to Joshimath 10 kms 30 mint. Overnight stay in Guest House (Tour and Our Service End)

there are regular public and private bus services available from Haridwar / Rishikash to Joshimath Morning 4 am to 7 am Daley service. Fair Rs. 450/- per person

If you like traveling by Private TATA SUMO per car Fair Rs. 6000/- for 8 person one car [we can arrange also your cab]

All bookings are made with Grand Adventures India registered in India at ground Floor, Hotel Nanda Devi, Joshimath, Distt. Chamoli, Uttarakhand. Grand Adventurers India is also recognized and registered with the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand.

01 : On booking a trek with us you must be able to understand the risks and hazards that are involved in adventure trips and you must be physically and mentally prepared for the same. Any existing medical problems should be mentioned at the time of

enquiry so that we can give the necessary guidance for a suitable trip.

02 : It is important that you are adequately insured for the full duration of your trip and the insurance should cover medical expenses, injury, death, and cost of repatriation, helicopter evacuation. All baggage and belongings are entirely at your own risk at all times and we will not take the responsibility of loss, damage or accident to any luggage or property.

* Full trip cost and domestic airfares will need to be sent by bank transfer 60 days before trip departure.
* Please note that on payments made by bank transfer, bank charges will have to be borne by the clients
* Should you wish to cancel; the following scale of charges will apply.

Cancellation 30 Days before departure : 75% of trip cost  refund

Cancellation 15 to 30 days  before departure : 50% of trip cost refund

QUESTIONS FROM CLIENT AND REPLY FROM US

1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
It depend of the difficulty of the trek : for some of them you need  1 month before begin your trek 5 kms jog every day but you need good health,  The trek we planned together is not very difficult therefore you should not worry, you can do this trek easily, When you get some time you go for jogging/walking. If possible 1 month before your departure you can walk/jog but you don’t need to go every day only as much as possible and at least once/twice a week.

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of April to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek mid of September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???

Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.

8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them.

10. What do we carry on the tour???
Just you see under we give you list of all necessary things, but before the start of the trip we will inform you again by mail required to carry with you.

11. Who carry my Luggage if I am not able to ???

We have Mule and porters for carry your luggage and all our camp equipment + food. You need to carry only your day bag

12. What kind of shoes should I carry???
Good quality hiking boots waterproof is must as you have to walk in snow and rain. So good trekking shoes is must for this trek.

13. How many travelers will sleep in one tent???
We have two mane tents Twin sharing bases tents are provide were two people can stay in fully comfort

14. What kind of food do we get during the tour???
Best local vegetarian food + Eggs on the Trek.

15. About Drininking water along the way trek and in camp ???

All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

16. What type of transportation and how many people are in one cab???
We use like Mahindra Max or Tata Sumo Cab - 5 persons in one cab if our group is 20 people we have mini bus [if you like privet Toyota Innova cab we can arrange also]

17. Should I bring my own medicines???
Absolutely - You should definitely carry whatever medicines you are using for the purpose of added safety.

18. Can the itinerary be changed???
Not because the itineraries are Fix planned, depending weather condition on the trek your but your guide and members of the group to see if they agree on small changes if is necessary to changed
