Kuari which means “doorway” is a Himalayan high mountain pass situated in the Garhwal region of northern India, south of the Tibetan border and on the western rim of the “Nanda Devi Sanctuary” Biosphere Reserve and falls in the Chamoli district. The Kuari Pass Trek found fame in the early 1900’s when intrepid adventurers and mountaineers such as Lord Curzon, Eric Ship ton and Bill Tillman used the passage in their pioneering explorations of the region. The Kuari Pass trek is known as The Curzon Trail (named after the former British Viceroy of India “Lord Curzon”).

BRIEF ITINERARY

Day 01 : Arrival Haridwar and drive to Rishikash or Srinagar (579m) 125 kms by Road 
Morning 7 AM. Arrival Haridwar. After drive to Srinagar by road 4 hrs. On the way cross Devaparyag holy confluences of the various tributaries of Ganga. : Deoprayag is the most sacred of all the prayags because it’s the very first one at the confluence of Bhagirathi (originating at Gaumukh) and Alaknanda (originating from snowy peaks above Badrinath). The two become the Ganges. Then after drive to Srinagar. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 02 : Srinagar to Ghoni (2550m) 175 kms by Road 
Morning after breakfast drive to Ghoni 7 to 8 hrs. Through Garhwali, landscape dotted with ethnic settlements following the Alake Nanda River. Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 03 : Ghoni to Jhenjipani (1524m) 13 kms 1st day Trek 
Morning after breakfast An ascend of about 3 hrs and a gradual descend of 2 hrs through a quiet forest and a local settlement en route. The locals here are a unique race of Garhwali, as they have never ventured beyond the mountains ever into the towns. Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 04 : Jhenjipani to Pana (2043m) 12 kms Trek
A 4 hrs trek ascending steeply for about 3 hrs followed by descend into the village of Pana. The route follows the valley and this village of Pana contains the Garhwali community known for their expertise in sheep wool weaving activities. They only ever use homespun clothes, Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 05 : Pana to Domabhiti (2296m) 10 kms Trek
Trek 6 hrs gradually ascending through thick forests containing a rich variety of flora and fauna. Numerous herbs are found in this area and the locals are known to pick them for local use. Nomads grazing their sheep’s en route is indeed interesting encounter as they lead a totally contrasting life-style. Overnight stay in tent

Day 06 : Domabhiti to Kuari Pass (3640m) - Overnight camp is Kulara (3200m) 10 kms Trek
Morning after breakfast you continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, at 3640m. One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. Now you will see the most impressive Mt. Nanda Devi (7820m.) at the stone through distance. Overnight food and stay in camp

Day 07 : Kulara to Auli (2750m) 16 kms Trek – drive to Joshimath 14 kms 
Morning after breakfast, trek down 5 hrs to reach Auli - a winter ski resort, at the height of 2700m. Auli provides excellent opportunities for cross country, slalom and downhill skiing events. It offers an 180o panoramic view of Nanda Devi (7820m), Kamet (7756m), Mana Parvat (7273m), Dunagiri (6489m), Bethartoli (6352m), Neelkanth (6596m), Hathi (6727m) and Ghori Parvat (6590m). You will end your trek at Auli. After continue drive 14 kms to JoshimathOvernight stay in tent [our service end at Joshimath]

Fair Rs. 450/- per person [Minimum 10 hrs takes to reach Ghat the road from Haridwar to Ghat is good but long journey] after Ghat to Ghoni you need take Tata Sumo 25 kms fair Rs. 100 per person

 1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
This trek you need fully require fit and god health, you need 2-3 week before begin your trek 5 kms jog when you get time

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of may to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek Mid September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day 

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???
Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.

8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them. 

10. What do we carry on the tour???
Just you see under we give you list of all necessary things, but before the start of the trip we will inform you again by mail required to carry with you.

11. Who carry my Luggage if I am not able to ???
We have Mule and porters for carry your luggage and all our camp equipment + food. You need to carry only your day bag

12. What kind of shoes should I carry???
Good quality hiking boots waterproof is must as you have to walk in snow and rain. So good trekking shoes is must for this trek.

13. How many travelers will sleep in one tent???
We have two mane tents Twin sharing bases tents are provide were two people can stay in fully comfort

14. What kind of food do we get during the tour???
Best local vegetarian food + Eggs on the Trek.

15. About Drininking water along the way trek and in camp ???
All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

16. What type of transportation and how many people are in one cab???
We use like Mahindra Max or Tata Sumo Cab - 5 persons in one cab if our group is 20 people we have mini bus [if you like privet Toyota Innova cab we can arrange also] 

17. Should I bring my own medicines???
Absolutely - You should definitely carry whatever medicines you are using for the purpose of added safety.

18. Can the itinerary be changed???
Not because the itineraries are Fix planned, depending weather condition on the trek your but your guide and members of the group to see if they agree on small changes if is necessary to changed

Day 01 : Arrival Haridwar and drive to Rishikash or Srinagar (579m) 125 kms by Road 
Morning 7 AM. Arrival Haridwar. After drive to Srinagar by road 4 hrs. On the way cross Devaparyag holy confluences of the various tributaries of Ganga. : Deoprayag is the most sacred of all the prayags because it’s the very first one at the confluence of Bhagirathi (originating at Gaumukh) and Alaknanda (originating from snowy peaks above Badrinath). The two become the Ganges. Then after drive to Srinagar. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 02 : Srinagar to Ghoni (2550m) 175 kms by Road 
Morning after breakfast drive to Ghoni 7 to 8 hrs. Through Garhwali, landscape dotted with ethnic settlements following the Alake Nanda River. Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 03 : Ghoni to Jhenjipani (1524m) 13 kms 1st day Trek 
Morning after breakfast An ascend of about 3 hrs and a gradual descend of 2 hrs through a quiet forest and a local settlement en route. The locals here are a unique race of Garhwali, as they have never ventured beyond the mountains ever into the towns. Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 04 : Jhenjipani to Pana (2043m) 12 kms Trek
A 4 hrs trek ascending steeply for about 3 hrs followed by descend into the village of Pana. The route follows the valley and this village of Pana contains the Garhwali community known for their expertise in sheep wool weaving activities. They only ever use homespun clothes, Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 05 : Pana to Domabhiti (2296m) 10 kms Trek
Trek 6 hrs gradually ascending through thick forests containing a rich variety of flora and fauna. Numerous herbs are found in this area and the locals are known to pick them for local use. Nomads grazing their sheep’s en route is indeed interesting encounter as they lead a totally contrasting life-style. Overnight stay in tent

Day 06 : Domabhiti to Kuari Pass (3640m) - Overnight camp is Kulara (3200m) 10 kms Trek
Morning after breakfast you continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, at 3640m. One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. Now you will see the most impressive Mt. Nanda Devi (7820m.) at the stone through distance. Overnight food and stay in camp

Day 07 : Kulara to Auli (2750m) 16 kms Trek – drive to Joshimath 14 kms 
Morning after breakfast, trek down 5 hrs to reach Auli - a winter ski resort, at the height of 2700m. Auli provides excellent opportunities for cross country, slalom and downhill skiing events. It offers an 180o panoramic view of Nanda Devi (7820m), Kamet (7756m), Mana Parvat (7273m), Dunagiri (6489m), Bethartoli (6352m), Neelkanth (6596m), Hathi (6727m) and Ghori Parvat (6590m). You will end your trek at Auli. After continue drive 14 kms to JoshimathOvernight stay in tent [our service end at Joshimath]

 1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
This trek you need fully require fit and god health, you need 2-3 week before begin your trek 5 kms jog when you get time

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of may to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek Mid September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day 

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???
Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.

8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them. 

10. What do we carry on the tour???
Just you see under we give you list of all necessary things, but before the start of the trip we will inform you again by mail required to carry with you.

11. Who carry my Luggage if I am not able to ???
We have Mule and porters for carry your luggage and all our camp equipment + food. You need to carry only your day bag

12. What kind of shoes should I carry???
Good quality hiking boots waterproof is must as you have to walk in snow and rain. So good trekking shoes is must for this trek.

13. How many travelers will sleep in one tent???
We have two mane tents Twin sharing bases tents are provide were two people can stay in fully comfort

14. What kind of food do we get during the tour???
Best local vegetarian food + Eggs on the Trek.

15. About Drininking water along the way trek and in camp ???
All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

16. What type of transportation and how many people are in one cab???
We use like Mahindra Max or Tata Sumo Cab - 5 persons in one cab if our group is 20 people we have mini bus [if you like privet Toyota Innova cab we can arrange also] 

17. Should I bring my own medicines???
Absolutely - You should definitely carry whatever medicines you are using for the purpose of added safety.

18. Can the itinerary be changed???

Kuari which means “doorway” is a Himalayan high mountain pass situated in the Garhwal region of northern India, south of the Tibetan border and on the western rim of the “Nanda Devi Sanctuary” Biosphere Reserve and falls in the Chamoli district. The Kuari Pass Trek found fame in the early 1900’s when intrepid adventurers and mountaineers such as Lord Curzon, Eric Ship ton and Bill Tillman used the passage in their pioneering explorations of the region. The Kuari Pass trek is known as The Curzon Trail (named after the former British Viceroy of India “Lord Curzon”).

Day 06 : Domabhiti to Kuari Pass (3640m) - Overnight camp is Kulara (3200m) 10 kms Trek
Morning after breakfast you continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, at 3640m. One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. Morning after breakfast, trek down 5 hrs to reach Auli - a winter ski resort, at the height of 2700m. Auli provides excellent opportunities for cross country, slalom and downhill skiing events. It offers an 180o panoramic view of Nanda Devi (7820m), Kamet (7756m), Mana Parvat (7273m), Dunagiri (6489m), Bethartoli (6352m), Neelkanth (6596m), Hathi (6727m) and Ghori Parvat (6590m).  1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
This trek you need fully require fit and god health, you need 2-3 week before begin your trek 5 kms jog when you get time

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of may to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek Mid September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day 

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???
Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.

8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them. 

10. What do we carry on the tour???

We have two mane tents Twin sharing bases tents are provide were two people can stay in fully comfort

15. About Drininking water along the way trek and in camp ???
All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

Kuari which means “doorway” is a Himalayan high mountain pass situated in the Garhwal region of northern India, south of the Tibetan border and on the western rim of the “Nanda Devi Sanctuary” Biosphere Reserve and falls in the Chamoli district. The Kuari Pass Trek found fame in the early 1900’s when intrepid adventurers and mountaineers such as Lord Curzon, Eric Ship ton and Bill Tillman used the passage in their pioneering explorations of the region. Day 06 : Domabhiti to Kuari Pass (3640m) - Overnight camp is Kulara (3200m) 10 kms Trek
Morning after breakfast you continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, at 3640m. One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. Day 07 : Kulara to Auli (2750m) 16 kms Trek – drive to Joshimath 14 kms 
Morning after breakfast, trek down 5 hrs to reach Auli - a winter ski resort, at the height of 2700m. Auli provides excellent opportunities for cross country, slalom and downhill skiing events. It offers an 180o panoramic view of Nanda Devi (7820m), Kamet (7756m), Mana Parvat (7273m), Dunagiri (6489m), Bethartoli (6352m), Neelkanth (6596m), Hathi (6727m) and Ghori Parvat (6590m). You will end your trek at Auli. After continue drive 14 kms to JoshimathOvernight stay in tent [our service end at Joshimath]

 1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
This trek you need fully require fit and god health, you need 2-3 week before begin your trek 5 kms jog when you get time

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of may to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek Mid September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day 

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???
Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.

8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them. 

10. What do we carry on the tour???

Good quality hiking boots waterproof is must as you have to walk in snow and rain. So good trekking shoes is must for this trek.

We have two mane tents Twin sharing bases tents are provide were two people can stay in fully comfort

Best local vegetarian food + Eggs on the Trek.

15. About Drininking water along the way trek and in camp ???
All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

Kuari which means “doorway” is a Himalayan high mountain pass situated in the Garhwal region of northern India, south of the Tibetan border and on the western rim of the “Nanda Devi Sanctuary” Biosphere Reserve and falls in the Chamoli district. The Kuari Pass Trek found fame in the early 1900’s when intrepid adventurers and mountaineers such as Lord Curzon, Eric Ship ton and Bill Tillman used the passage in their pioneering explorations of the region. The Kuari Pass trek is known as The Curzon Trail (named after the former British Viceroy of India “Lord Curzon”).

Day 01 : Arrival Haridwar and drive to Rishikash or Srinagar (579m) 125 kms by Road 
Morning 7 AM. Arrival Haridwar. After drive to Srinagar by road 4 hrs. On the way cross Devaparyag holy confluences of the various tributaries of Ganga. : Deoprayag is the most sacred of all the prayags because it’s the very first one at the confluence of Bhagirathi (originating at Gaumukh) and Alaknanda (originating from snowy peaks above Badrinath). The two become the Ganges. Then after drive to Srinagar. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 02 : Srinagar to Ghoni (2550m) 175 kms by Road 
Morning after breakfast drive to Ghoni 7 to 8 hrs. Through Garhwali, landscape dotted with ethnic settlements following the Alake Nanda River. Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 03 : Ghoni to Jhenjipani (1524m) 13 kms 1st day Trek 
Morning after breakfast An ascend of about 3 hrs and a gradual descend of 2 hrs through a quiet forest and a local settlement en route. The locals here are a unique race of Garhwali, as they have never ventured beyond the mountains ever into the towns. Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 04 : Jhenjipani to Pana (2043m) 12 kms Trek
A 4 hrs trek ascending steeply for about 3 hrs followed by descend into the village of Pana. The route follows the valley and this village of Pana contains the Garhwali community known for their expertise in sheep wool weaving activities. They only ever use homespun clothes, Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 05 : Pana to Domabhiti (2296m) 10 kms Trek
Trek 6 hrs gradually ascending through thick forests containing a rich variety of flora and fauna. Numerous herbs are found in this area and the locals are known to pick them for local use.  1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
This trek you need fully require fit and god health, you need 2-3 week before begin your trek 5 kms jog when you get time

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of may to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek Mid September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day 

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???
Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.

8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them. 

10. What do we carry on the tour???

Good quality hiking boots waterproof is must as you have to walk in snow and rain. So good trekking shoes is must for this trek.

We have two mane tents Twin sharing bases tents are provide were two people can stay in fully comfort

14. What kind of food do we get during the tour???
Best local vegetarian food + Eggs on the Trek.

15. About Drininking water along the way trek and in camp ???
All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

Kuari which means “doorway” is a Himalayan high mountain pass situated in the Garhwal region of northern India, south of the Tibetan border and on the western rim of the “Nanda Devi Sanctuary” Biosphere Reserve and falls in the Chamoli district. The Kuari Pass Trek found fame in the early 1900’s when intrepid adventurers and mountaineers such as Lord Curzon, Eric Ship ton and Bill Tillman used the passage in their pioneering explorations of the region. The Kuari Pass trek is known as The Curzon Trail (named after the former British Viceroy of India “Lord Curzon”).

Day 01 : Arrival Haridwar and drive to Rishikash or Srinagar (579m) 125 kms by Road 
Morning 7 AM. Arrival Haridwar. After drive to Srinagar by road 4 hrs. On the way cross Devaparyag holy confluences of the various tributaries of Ganga. : Deoprayag is the most sacred of all the prayags because it’s the very first one at the confluence of Bhagirathi (originating at Gaumukh) and Alaknanda (originating from snowy peaks above Badrinath). The two become the Ganges. Then after drive to Srinagar. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 02 : Srinagar to Ghoni (2550m) 175 kms by Road 
Morning after breakfast drive to Ghoni 7 to 8 hrs. Through Garhwali, landscape dotted with ethnic settlements following the Alake Nanda River. Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 03 : Ghoni to Jhenjipani (1524m) 13 kms 1st day Trek 
Morning after breakfast An ascend of about 3 hrs and a gradual descend of 2 hrs through a quiet forest and a local settlement en route. The locals here are a unique race of Garhwali, as they have never ventured beyond the mountains ever into the towns. Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 04 : Jhenjipani to Pana (2043m) 12 kms Trek
A 4 hrs trek ascending steeply for about 3 hrs followed by descend into the village of Pana. The route follows the valley and this village of Pana contains the Garhwali community known for their expertise in sheep wool weaving activities. They only ever use homespun clothes, Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 05 : Pana to Domabhiti (2296m) 10 kms Trek
Trek 6 hrs gradually ascending through thick forests containing a rich variety of flora and fauna. Numerous herbs are found in this area and the locals are known to pick them for local use. Day 06 : Domabhiti to Kuari Pass (3640m) - Overnight camp is Kulara (3200m) 10 kms Trek
Morning after breakfast you continue your walk and complete the trek to the Kuari Pass, at 3640m. One of the high spots of this trek, There may be snow in the pass, but the view from the summit will more than compensate for any difficult on the trail. Almost the whole of Garhwal Himalayas is in view- the great Badrinath groups of peaks to the north and to the west the Nanda Devi sanctuary; Dunagiri; Bethartholi; Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Nilkanth; Manna and Trishul are among the peaks we expect to see. HOW TO REACH GHAT

By Bus
There are regular public bus services available from Haridwar and Rishikash to Ghat Morning 4 am to 6 am Daley service. Fair Rs. 450/- per person [Minimum 10 hrs takes to reach Ghat the road from Haridwar to Ghat is good but long journey] after Ghat to Ghoni you need take Tata Sumo 25 kms fair Rs. 100 per person

HOW AND WHEN YOU PAY

 The Payment can be paid 25% the total amount of your tour cost for confirm your Trek. Rest of 75% - 30 days before start your tour – the payment paid by online bank transfer, by check, by demand draft only.

When your transfer is done, please e-mail us a confirmation mail with your transfer details, so that we can follow up your reservation efficiently

 All bookings are made with Grand Adventures India registered in India at ground Floor, Hotel Nanda Devi, Joshimath, Distt. Chamoli, Uttarakhand. Grand Adventurers India is also recognized and registered with the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttarakhand.

01 : On booking a trek with us you must be able to understand the risks and hazards that are involved in adventure trips and you must be physically and mentally prepared for the same. Any existing medical problems should be mentioned at the time of enquiry so that we can give the necessary guidance for a suitable trip.

02 : It is important that you are adequately insured for the full duration of your trip and the insurance should cover medical expenses, injury, death, and cost of repatriation, helicopter evacuation. All baggage and belongings are entirely at your own risk at all times and we will not take the responsibility of loss, damage or accident to any luggage or property.

* Full trip cost will need to be sent by bank transfer 30 days before trip departure.
* Please note that on payments made by bank transfer, bank charges will have to be borne by the clients
* Should you wish to cancel; the following scale of charges will apply.

Cancellation 30 Days before departure : 75% of trip cost refund

Cancellation 15 to 30 days before departure : 50% of trip cost refund

QUESTIONS FROM CLIENT AND REPLY FROM US

 1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
This trek you need fully require fit and god health, you need 2-3 week before begin your trek 5 kms jog when you get time

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of may to till end of June and end of September to end of November only.

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek Mid September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day 

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???
Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.

8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them. 

10. What do we carry on the tour???
Just you see under we give you list of all necessary things, but before the start of the trip we will inform you again by mail required to carry with you.

11. Who carry my Luggage if I am not able to ???
We have Mule and porters for carry your luggage and all our camp equipment + food. You need to carry only your day bag

12. What kind of shoes should I carry???
Good quality hiking boots waterproof is must as you have to walk in snow and rain. So good trekking shoes is must for this trek.

13. How many travelers will sleep in one tent???
We have two mane tents Twin sharing bases tents are provide were two people can stay in fully comfort

14. What kind of food do we get during the tour???
Best local vegetarian food + Eggs on the Trek.

15. About Drininking water along the way trek and in camp ???
All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

16. What type of transportation and how many people are in one cab???
We use like Mahindra Max or Tata Sumo Cab - 5 persons in one cab if our group is 20 people we have mini bus [if you like privet Toyota Innova cab we can arrange also] 

17. Should I bring my own medicines???
Absolutely - You should definitely carry whatever medicines you are using for the purpose of added safety.

18. Can the itinerary be changed???
Not because the itineraries are Fix planned, depending weather condition on the trek your but your guide and members of the group to see if they agree on small changes if is necessary to changed
